Modeling school before an agency is VITAL
Many newer, inexperienced models today never think of schooling first.
Too many think that just having a few good images are enough to be accepted by a professional agency.
This is far from the truth. There have been many models with great potential and great submission shots, digitals, a short portfolio...that get multiple rejections. But WHY? They LOOK LIKE they have great potential!
Because... it's also experience that matters and more than a basic resume' or a certain good look to be a model that is needed.
Think of modeling this way...
Would you go downtown New York to interview for a corporate job as say a ceo executive assistant...with just a basic resume' and no schooling, limited experience and you are answering questions wrong?
Never worked in the corporate environment before?
Who do you think they would hire?
That person or the one whom has had four years at a university as a graduate in business management and has an associates or bachelor's degree?
The one whom answers questions at an interview as hey, how are ya? No smile, shows blah personality, barely shows up on time, slouched in her chair, has a minimal resume', no degree, no Certifications, no experience. Chewing gum, doesn't know anything about being an executive assistant but has simply a desire to be one?
Or...
The university grad who answers, Good day Sir or Ma'am, I'm here to interview for the executive assistant position with a smile, has her Certifications in administrative assistant, degree from a university, has good posture. Dresses well, shows up before anyone else, shows a great personality, AND...uses great communication etiquette.
Which first impression will the Ceo, looking for an executive assistant hire?
Point made.
Get schooled.
Don't be the first one.
Be the second one.
Get yourself trained to where you don't need to leave an audition, asking random people online is like asking random people in the street why you were rejected multiple times from an agency.
Know what you're doing before you submit to a modeling agency or you will continue to get rejected.
It doesn't matter if you have THAT MODEL LOOK that some random guy or your girlfriend said you have and you should be a model.
GET SCHOOLED.
Pro models have model trainers, mentors, managers, websites, video modeling reels, experienced resume', certifications, schooling of a modeling academy and a variety portfolio and excellent communication etiquette. Pimn is a virtual modeling academy network that can also create an extra income!

Or... they will be....REJECTED.

The less questions, the more skilled you'll appear to be. Reading more may answer your questions.
Asking questions that are already answered on the website...will show us you didn't truly read or study the website or blog.
Submitting without proper etiquette will show you didnt truly study the blog.
Being asked repeatedly to resubmit it, to fix multiple issues will show you didnt truly read the site or blog.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS MATTER.
MAKE IT COUNT! To submit it and get it wrong and your score dropping is better than not trying at all.
Sending an email saying Hi, I'm Jane, I'm interested in joining your agency please, here are my 4 digitals!
Thank you for your consideration doesn't cut it. Sorry.
Having a model trainer, mentor, manager is your first step towards becoming viewed more as professional.
Using always always always Sir or Ma'am is another elementary step to being viewed as more professional and youll be viewed as smarter than others when you have your act together and your ducks in a row, so to speak.
Looking like you should be a model isn't enough.
That us like saying to a random lady on the street, you look like you could be a professional dancer! Are you?
As she laughs and says, really? Thats funny, I don't even know how to dance! Haha.
Can't judge a book by a cover alone. Do remember this if you pass up Pimn. Takes far far more than a smile or a pretty face to be a pro model.
Pimn has trained models whom claimed to be experienced and yet knew only about 10% of what is mentioned in Pimn.
They showed up late consistently, their texting and emailing etiquette was horrendous, they had no trainer, no mentor, no manager. They were also broke. Pretty, but broke.
Some were actually pretty rude. Others had eyes rolled and complaining by photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists. Why? BAD ATTITUDES. EGOS. NARCISSISTIC. RUDE.
We dont mean to slam other models but...reality is, pro models are miles beyond many pretty faces whom claim to be experienced, yet never schooled. THE DIFFERENCE IN THE REAL PRO MODELS VS THE FAKE PRO MODELS?
THEY ARE LOVED AND COMPLIMENTED AND WANTED BACK.
The others are hated, complained about and people say, ohhhh gawd, I never want to work with her again. Please don't have her back Sir! She was rude, late, loud, inconsiderate.
Yes, I've heard it all after over a decade working with a variety of models of all types.
Get yourself together with Pimn to be the one complimented, asked, wow, you're good and so natural, who trained YOU!?
I'm a certified Pimn model. :)
