1.Don't be late to appointments, Pimn models stick to their words. They don't keep others waiting and in fact, are EARLY! They are courteous to other pros time schedules if they work or shoot with others.&nbsp;If ever going to be late, they call or txt ahead. Informing why and how late.&nbsp;This is just courtesy to others. A Pimn model strives to NEVER BE A NO SHOW, NO CALL.&nbsp;2.Don't chew gum on shoots. Or atleast...if you do so, do so discreetly, not smacking gum and making it known. It doesn't come off as professional. As nit picky as that sounds.&nbsp;If you want fresh breath, use a breath mint to tuck on the side of your mouth.&nbsp;3.Don't curse around other pros. This is unprofessional as complaining. And especially never curse AT someone. Never yell or get angry. If someone upsets you, control your emotions maturely. Kids throw tantrums and fits, not adults.&nbsp;4.Never gossip or talk badly about anyone. The one you are doing so to may be friends with the one you are talking badly about. Never complain about others or vent to others you're working with. It's not professional.&nbsp;Keep your gossip to yourself and any negative feelings, vent it to a close friend if you need to or even consult your model trainer, mentor, manager for suggestions.&nbsp;If it's your trainer, mentor manager you have issues with, be respectful, maintaining your politeness and courtesy and put it nicely and maturely on a video and your request will be taken seriously.&nbsp;5.Always use Sir or Ma'am if the other pro is at least ten years older. If they aren't that much older, simply using first name is fine. Don't use Mr or Ms unless they say so. Don't call them by their name if they are older and more experienced than you. It's actually considered rude by doing so.&nbsp;It's like calling your doctor John or your college professor Jane vs professor. Pimn model in-person etiquette & tips

Step 1 was listed at the top of the home page. It is important you take one step at a time. Mark it off as you go. One by one. Step by step. Don't allow too much info to overwhelm you. There is a wealth of info that you will be having to learn, remember and apply.&nbsp;As a tip, re-reading info helps you retain info better if you lack any focus to detail.&nbsp;Here are the next steps to proper enrollment....you are being scored the moment you begin to submit yourself &amp; content to Pimn training.&nbsp;Writing these down and checking them off as you go can help. That's up to each model.&nbsp;2.Submission of your very best head and full body shot with the following info added...double check you followed EVERY LETTER INSTRUCTION BELOW Before sending it.&nbsp;A.Letter of introduction. Confirm you followed step 1.B.Confirm you are 18 yrs old or older. Not over age 60.&nbsp;C.Confirm you have read the 20 blog qualifications and you feel you qualify. D.State anything you may need to ask that you feel you might not qualify for.&nbsp;E.State first name city, state, country.F.State you confirm you agree to follow Pimn's standards if selected. Including communication etiquette.G.State your 5 styles you'd like to start with to model. If you don't know...ask for the list. ( styles are soon coming to the blog that Pimn accepts )H.State your goals and experience level. New, 0 weeks, months or yrs. 1 yr beginner, 2 yrs intermediate, 3 yrs advanced, 4+ yrs pro.&nbsp;I.Confirm you have a PayPal or Venmo and add the email or link.&nbsp;J.End your introduction submission with how e-mail etiquette blog states.&nbsp;K.Wait to be contacted if accepted. L.Practice self video incase you are of a catwalk and 360 contour pose to have ready if you dont already have one.&nbsp;M.To ask questions, do so on a video only. Not more than 3 at a time. However, asking questions deducts points and you start at 50. Below a 40 and you'll be asked to resubmit and why. You'll have 3 tries. If you fail, remember you'll be moved to a 7 day wait to study more and retry. Pimn gives multiple chances.&nbsp;If after 7 days, you fail 1 time, you'll be wished good luck. Not accepted. You'll have had a week to study and practice.&nbsp;The website answers a lot of questions.&nbsp;Submit entry. Next step...3.When contacted, if selected, submit your 1min video private link much like you would digitals. 4 way pose with away from camera catwalk In a form fitting, two piece black only, natural look, black high heels. Closed toed preferred.&nbsp;A.Pose front &amp; pause 3 secB.Turn left &amp; pause 3 secC.Turn away &amp; pause 3 sec looking over left shoulder.D.Turn left again &amp; pause 3 secE.Turn front again &amp; pause 3 sec&nbsp;F.Catwalk back to upper body only to camera and say, this is my 4 way contour catwalk pose submission. Thank you Sir for accepting my submission.&nbsp;G.Video is vertical not horizontal and should be with white background and stationary, self-video with cell and not last more than 1 min.&nbsp;If using a white sheet, it needs to be wrinkle free and well lit video. A minimum walk of four steps to pose and return.&nbsp;No makeup, no hair done. Smiling is noted.&nbsp;H.Wait for contact.&nbsp;4.Upon being contacted after your video submission, you'll be asked to fill out a ten question questionaire.&nbsp;A.Fill it out within 12 hrs of receiving and send it back with proper e-mail etiquette used. B.You're being noted on your manners and timeliness. Ability to follow exact directions.&nbsp;5.Upon being contacted again after review of questions, while waiting, if you have ANY tats or piercings, they need to be video taped. A.Some are acceptable. Some will not be and must be covered with makeup or clothing when modeling.&nbsp;B.No goth modeling. No vamp modeling. No horror modeling. No religious insult modeling. No blood modeling. No drug representation modeling.&nbsp;6.Once contacted about your questionaire...you will be informed if accepted. A.Asked if you have any questions before signing. B.You'll be asked if you plan to do minimum free training or the paid membership. C.Keeping in mind, paid members are only ones that can promote.&nbsp;D.Use proper etiquette answering back in a timely manner. The sooner the better. 12hrs is now minimum time to reply back.&nbsp;E.Do not inform other models or girlfriends, sisters, etc unless you are accepted. Meaning, do not promote pimn to start sponsoring others yet.&nbsp;F.You may submit anything back within 12 hrs. To increase score, do so within an hour.&nbsp;G.If over 12 hrs, you will be asked up to only 2 more times before asked to wait a week to resubmit.&nbsp;H.Most all pimn submissions are done based on a time schedule that decreases as you progress.&nbsp;7.If accepted, you'll be sent an NDA to cover non-disclosure of specifics of Pimn &amp; a 4 yr agreement to look over and return both signed in 24hrs.&nbsp;8.Once signed on. You'll be given further instructions to create e.mail and private training portfolio.&nbsp;9.Do not try to call using the link on the website or attempt video chat. The call link is not currently active.&nbsp;10.You'll receive your welcome into Pimn Pro International Modeling Network letter from Pimn Director and informed next what to do. A.Starting based off schedule you gave us. And a congratulations for being chosen and passing your audition submissions!&nbsp;B.Keep an eye on future updates on our blog.&nbsp; important to check at minimum once a week.C.If asked to redo anything, do so within 12 hrs. Resubmit it with changes requested.&nbsp;You'll have 3 attempts to process into Pimn. If you can't get it right in 3 attempts, you'll be put on a 7 day waiting list to retry. Texting professionally is as important as a professional e-mail. How you communicate as a Pimn model reflects on your over-all weekly score.&nbsp;Pimn models start out with a score of 50. If they show improvement, that score goes up. If they show they can't remember standards, their score drops.&nbsp;As you are scored on multiple areas weekly. We will cover Pimn scoring in another upcoming blog. ( If not yet posted )&nbsp;Models that can't remember their ps and qs of communication etiquette will only continue to drop in score daily, weekly, monthly. That includes how you text your model trainer, mentor, manager.&nbsp;If you are skipping your daily check-in and check-out process too, how fast you are starting to respond.&nbsp;Amateur models take hours and hours to reply back or they don't respond when seeing a txt or they just say ok.&nbsp;Some Amateur models however have demonstrated better than experienced models whom were never trained in communication etiquette!&nbsp;A lot of how quick a model can adapt may be based off current habits of how she communicates already.&nbsp;Pimn models are to strive daily to get her scores up and keep them up. With a goal of consistently reaching 100.&nbsp;Again, more on scoring soon in the blog about Pimn's methods.&nbsp;Back to texting etiquette...● Here is are three examples starting with very bad etiquette first example.&nbsp;Ok etiquette but not ideal second example.&nbsp;And excellent txt etiquette third example....M = Model trainer, mentor, manager&nbsp;J = Jane Doe&nbsp;J : Hey there&nbsp;MM : Hey Jane, how are you today?&nbsp;Answers ten minutes later. Doesn't treat her text like a one on one conversation and is distracted. No personality.&nbsp;J : I'm fine.&nbsp;MM : Did you get your video shoot done today...for submission to review and critique before you post to your portfolio?&nbsp;Answers 20 min later. Keeping the trainer waiting. No courteousy in her text method. Doesn't apologize or make sure she's not distracted while texting. Answers are very dry and minimal. No etiquette.&nbsp;J : Yep&nbsp;MM : How'd the shoot go?&nbsp;Answers 45 min later..J :damnit, oh fine. When ya wanna see them?&nbsp;This is a no go. Bad example of text etiquette. Delays, distracted and curses. Displays no manners at all. And comes off as rude.&nbsp;J : OK, sent! Gotta go! I'm late and gotta get my stupid cat to the vet!&nbsp;MM : Uh, ok Jane. ?&nbsp;Your model manager, unless you know them exceptionally well...doesn't need to know your issues with your dog, cat, pet rat, hamster or gold fish. Don't voice your issues unless you know your trainer very well. Then if you have any to discuss, you may ask off the record. To talk openly. Not the typical but of 40 models, 5 have.&nbsp;● The next example is somewhat better but not ideal for a Pimn level model in training.&nbsp;J : Hello, how are you today Mr.Doe?&nbsp;MM : I'm good, thanks Jane. I don't go by Mr. Thx&nbsp;Did you finish your shoot for submission to me today?&nbsp;Answers 5 min later.&nbsp;J : uh yeah, I sure did! It went pretty good! I'll send my video now if that's OK?&nbsp;MM : Sure Jane, go ahead, I'll review it when Im free and let you know.&nbsp;Answers 15 min later.&nbsp;J : OK thank you!&nbsp;That example is somewhat avg type text etiquette. But not good enough for Pimn standards. Let's see next the best example of a skilled Pimn model.&nbsp;J : Good day Sir, ( or ma'am if a female trainer/mentor ) hope your day is great today!&nbsp;MM : Hello Jane, yes, thank you, it's going great. How about your today?&nbsp;Answers right away, no distractions.&nbsp;J : Well just trying to get this video submission finished for you to review Sir! :) I'm about to send it here now Sir.&nbsp;Answers right away as always a model trainer is distraction free when answering.&nbsp;MM : OK great! Looking forward to seeing it to review it and see if it's acceptable for my&nbsp; posting to my training portfolio.&nbsp;Answers right away. Doesn't go off and come back later to leave her model trainer tapping his fingers, waiting. Is very respectful and professional.&nbsp;J : I hope so Sir, I spent like 3 hours today on it to do my best. But anything you notice Sir that I need to fix, I'll fix this evening...if you're at all able to critique it within the hour please?MM : Yes, sure. I think I can get to it by then for you. Go ahead and send it soon as you're ready. You still have an hour to spare on your submitting it to me anyway Jane.&nbsp;J : Ohhh! That's right! Lol ok Thanks for reminding me Sir! But I'm finished on it early! Yayyy sending now Sir! Thank you for accepting my submission for today.&nbsp;If Jane was an intermediate model, she would be saying this on video. Not live video, but reply video. Model trainers Don't do live video unless THEY REQUEST THAT. Models however DO if an intermediate level. She also has choice to up her score by doing video response in her beginner level. It WILL give her a weekly increased score of 5 if she models 5 days a week. It's not required as a beginner model.&nbsp;It IS required after beginner level. Why is this? So the model learns to be more relaxed in front of a camera. It's training herself to overcoming any camera shyness. It is never shared public. It's strictly for the trainer to see her look before she submits her video modeling shoots.&nbsp;So, the last example of texting etiquette was a random, fictional example of a more skilled Pimn model.&nbsp;1.She contacts him slightly early if able vs him having to contact her asking after her time frame and she's not late. She's actually early.&nbsp;2.She is consistently polite and respectful in her every text.3.She smiles and shows personality in her communicating vs short one or two word DRY replies. Which shows no personality.&nbsp;4.She is not distracted or delayed in her replies. If she gets distracted, she'd say...J : I'm very sorry Sir, please excuse me for just 5min! I have an interruption. BRB Sir! :)&nbsp;MM : Ok Jane. Np.&nbsp;5 min later,not 10 or 15 but as she stated...J : Ok Sir, so sorry for that! Lol it was unexpected family call! Thank you for waiting!&nbsp;MM : No worries Jane. All good.&nbsp;Another ending text would be, thank you Sir for my submission and have a wonderful night! I'll check-In tomorrow Sir! Is that all you need? I've sent it. :)&nbsp;5.She is considerate, courteous of the model trainers time and schedule.&nbsp;In example 3, Jane Doesn't play head games, doesn't ghost, doesn't delay, doesn't ignore txt when answered, doesn't continue to be distracted, always uses Sir or Ma'am. Doesn't complain.&nbsp;In example 3, Jane Is thankful to her trainer. She greets her trainer, ends it also in a very friendly,positive way. Shows excellent etiquette In her texting. etc.&nbsp;She would score a 5 for her weekly texting etiquette where example 2 would score a 2 or 3 and example 1 would score a 1 for her weekly communication skill score.&nbsp;THIS is the difference in what a Pimn model strives for.&nbsp;If accepted into Pimn modeling, learn it, remember it and apply it daily...or if it's not for you, do not try to enroll with Pimn virtual modeling training network.&nbsp;Don't let your bad days reflect in your emails or texting. Or your mood swings. Keep it consistently at example 3.&nbsp;Its not just about txt or email etiquette, its also about in-person manners, courtesy towards others you communicate with or work with in modeling. Especially any that are helping you.Not all pros think as Pimn trains models. In fact, some pros that are very skilled in photography or hair styling or makeup, even other experienced models may find Pimns methods too strict or too much.&nbsp;But these types of people do not set Pimn model standards. If they laugh about having courtesy, manners or respectful demeanor...then maybe they arent so professional after all?&nbsp;Our standards are not meant to be judged but applied and those that find our way too structured or TOO corporate...may not have been to any modeling academy before nor been around much of the higher level professional types.&nbsp;It isn't for them to claim, "That's ridiculous, that's a bit much, that's too much. Omg! You have to be perfect?" No, nobody is perfect. We simply train models to be the most professional. If another pro disagrees with our methods, then they are free to disagree but not judge how Pimn standards are higher than theirs. So, if you become a Pimn model...don't let negative people bash down what we strive to help you be of more respectful and courteous towards others. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, other pros whom are...will notice and value it and appreciate it. As well, compliment you.&nbsp;Even different cultures have different levels of what is valued. One culture may not focus much on being polite while another might.&nbsp;Opinions vary. But we arent here to abide by a variety of opinions but strictly what Pimn teaches.&nbsp;This may come up if you bring into your model training or shoots others you know or meet or friends. However, you are less likely to encounter this defiance of good etiquette... if you decide to do Pimn alone. Which is the typical.&nbsp;Not all pros have the same standards and not all that claim to be experienced are schooled or trained to truly be professional.&nbsp;That concludes first step only in texting etiquette. Pimn Updated Standards for all Pimn models as of Nov 2024All of the most professional of people in a variety of career fields have schooled themselves and schooling requires study. Study requires reading. And learning requires reading comprehension.&nbsp;With no reading, there is no learning, with no learning, there is no progress, no growth. That model whom feels reading to learn things is a task, just too hard, too much to read, etc...will NEVER PROGRESS MUCH except take much longer over years of experience.&nbsp;PRO MODELS HAVE ZERO ISSUES READING TO LEARN AND STUDYING WHAT IS NEEDED TO BETTER THEMSELVES. THEN, THEY LEARN TO APPLY WHAT THEY LEARN. AS LEARNING WITHOUT ACTUALLY APPLYING IT...IS NO PROGRESS.&nbsp;So, Pimn models break the mold of what it means to be truly professional, top of the line models. They have no hesitation in working on perfecting themselves to being the best of the best.&nbsp;They find time in their free moments to study. Even if it's only a little here and there. Every time a Pimn model is reading, she's growing. She's learning what it takes to improve herself. Much like a college student learning to graduate with a Master's degree has to put in the effort, the self-discipline and study time.&nbsp;Yet, it's not meant to be something that yoh should feel like you're dragging yourself or forcing yourself to do.&nbsp;So, one of the most IMPORTANT TIPS Pimn can offer is...break any bad habit of not liking to read. Make it thick, youll be using it for many notes of key areas to write into. Writing things down helps your memory retention.&nbsp;Tips...1.Dont take things personally. It's more mature to take a comment and if you have an issue, to submit it on video in a way that it is a request of any change to be considered vs a complaint.&nbsp;Being polite always and respectful is the roots of the Pimn tree.Your video request of issue you wish to be addressed should be no more than 2min long.The video submission is not a rant or a complaint. It's an issue that is a concern related to yourself, the training, someone you have helping you, etc.2.If you have requested an open dialog with your trainer or another model or photographer, etc., be aware what you're asking for in terms of "open dialog." That's a double edged sword.&nbsp;Once the other person has accepted that, both parties need to respect the confidentiality of the other person, regardless who they are. Take into account the type of request. RESPECT IS MUTUAL.Don't be rude about any statements or jokes when or if you have an open dialog with someone you're working or training with. Open means, you accept to discuss things on personal matters too. Being professional goes both ways. So if you don't desire people cursing around you, don't curse around them. If you don't like to be joked with, don't joke with them.&nbsp;Every person you work with has a unique personality that can range from 1 to a 1000 in differences of mannerism, how they treat others vs how you do, how they communicate vs you.&nbsp;If anything falls out of line between you and another trainer, photograoher, hair stylist, model, client, etc, simply communicate your true feelings about it nicely. If they are someone to work with again, they will or should honor that.&nbsp;3.Your schedule is not more important than your modeling trainer, mentor, manager's schedule is.That is something all models in Pimn need to remember and retain. Once a Pimn model, you're on your trainers schedule too. So respect their time and schedule.&nbsp;Do not be demanding and treat your training as if only your schedule matters. If you need a break, submit it via video request to your trainer.&nbsp;Here is an example. Hello Sir, I'm submitting that I will be out of town and unable to perform my normal modeling schedule next week, starting on date ? And ending date ?&nbsp;I'll resubmit a video Sir, stating when I return and I'm free again to resume my modeling schedule.Thank you for accepting my request for a break. Have a great day Sir or if ever a female, Thank you Ma'am.&nbsp;4.Respect your model trainers time more...because he is the model trainer, mentor, manager.That's part of model etiquette to remember. You're the student, your trainer is the instructor. Respect that. It doesn't work the other way.&nbsp;5.Answer any model trainer &nbsp;msgs or email or audio, video calls... when you are active modeling again soon as possible.That's part of your training to do so. If you are not on an approved break time, expect to answer 24/7 without complaint.Even if you are woken up at a.m. hours, answer the msg or audio, call, etc and learn to not delay responses. Never complain you were woken up or interrupted.Remember, you're on Pimn training schedule, not the other way.&nbsp;Pro models make themselves available to be reached 24/7. This is imperative to learn.&nbsp;You'll be tested too and scored on everything and how you react, how you can follow directions and these standards.If you need a break, submit a video for that break. Regardless how long you need.&nbsp;6.Do not judge others personal habits or lives that you work with. If you're aware of say another model, photographer, trainer, client, etc that is living a lifestyle you don't agree with, that is not for you to vent or complain about nor judge. Just as you would not wish for anyone to judge your lifestyle.&nbsp;7.Still regard pimn model etiquette and manners towards your trainer, mentor, manager, other models, photographers, hair stylists etc or anyone else, regardless of their past...maintain manners.&nbsp;8.If your model trainer,manager msgs a model, she's expected to give a response within as short a time as possible, not give &nbsp;excuses or upset about my messaging her.If you're busy at the time, step aside, excuse yourself from your work or conversation and let them know you must reply, excuse me please, it will take only a minute.Inform your model trainer politely you're engaged at the moment but you'll respond in more detail soon as possible when you're free.&nbsp;9.Always always always be well polite and respectful to any professional, especially to your model trainer, mentor, manager or other models or clients you work for. &nbsp;10.Never complain, never lose temper, never give respect then take it away, that's disrespectful.If you use Mr or Mrs and that's the preferred by them, don't later call them by name unless they ask.If you use Sir or Ma'am, it remains as Sir or Ma'am unless asked by them, oh, you can call me John or Jane, etc&nbsp;11.Always still use Sir or ma'am, regardless what past a person has if you're aware of it, their past should not be an issue to you.It should not reflect how you treat them any less respectfully. This is the pro model way.If driving and you notice a msg come through from your model trainer or manager, pull over at soonest opportunity and reply but never txt and drive or reply while driving.Do not ever submit any driving videos or texting while driving etc. You're on Pimn's schedule once a pimn model.Treat it as if it's a job because how you treat it will be stored and can later reflect how you treat a client to model for should you ever work outside of pimn.&nbsp;Accepting offers outside of pimn is by submitting a video explaining the offer in detail, the amount paid, location, company, address, dates, hours, every detail you can submit via video.&nbsp;If your model manager, trainer, mentor says no. Don't ask why not!? If no explaination is given, simply reply ok Sir. Thank you for responding. If you're needed to be given an explanation of a job offer, it will be given.The manager may be busy and if no explanation is given, consider that they are saving you time from a bad offer or a scam.If you really can't accept no, resubmit a video stating your debate in question politely. It will be answered when it's answered.&nbsp;14.Always greet first thing every day your model trainer, manager, mentor with good morning Sir, I'm up if you need me for any feedback or training info for my day.I'm currently free. This informs your model trainer, manager that you are open and offer up to what time free?Your position as a model in training is not to question short responses. Simply accept it and realize it's no. Model trainers are busy training other models and we do not need to explain ourselves to models in detail.But that is nit the same attitude you should have towards your model trainer or client if ever a client. However, pimn models have managers whom contact offers.Never respond yourself to an outside offer. That goes to pimn to answer for you and then inform you results. This is for your own safety.&nbsp;15.Always end the day the same way, my day is ending Sir, is there anything further you need to inform me of before I rest please?&nbsp;16.If you have a boyfriend, that now is not allowed in pimn. So if you keep one, don't inform pimn. As pimn is intended for independent models only. Spouses and boyfriends can be a distraction to pro models.If you have one already, you must inform and to see if you are still accepted and they must agree by signing a significant other waiver, stating they will never interfere with your modeling.This has caused issues in the past and led models to be interrupted in their modeling or even withdrawn from training due to needs of that spouse or boyfriend. They must approve of your modeling if a significant other.&nbsp;17.All content shared is confidential and not to be discussed that is personal info to anyone by anyone in Pimn.Same applies to you, about you, any details to protect each other's confidential privacy respected.&nbsp;18.If you can't follow these standards. You're not ready to model to either join as a new model or to continue modeling as a prior pimn model.&nbsp;19.Control your emotions related to your modeling. If having a bad day, etc, keep your emotions In check when it comes to dealing with others.&nbsp;20.Most of all, have fun with it and understand that for any school or university or skilled trade school, there are rules and standards to abide by.Understand this and abide by them as not doing so can reflect upon your score that starts at 50 and can rise or fall depending on your actions.The goal is to achieve a 100 score weekly and keep it there. You may not achieve a 100 within the first few weeks.
